Her anti-war views have brought her national attention.
And now, a campaign spreading her message makes a stop in Madison.

The Bring Them Home Now! Bus tour made a stop at the Barrymore Theater Sunday evening to protest the war in Iraq.

Cindy Sheehan, whose son died overseas, began camping out at the President's ranch last month, vowing to stay until he spoke to her about the war. Although she didn't make it up to Wisconsin, her campaign is bringing her anti-war message to Madison.

"When 60% of Americans believe that it was a mistake to go into Iraq, when 60% of Americans now want us to be bringing those troops home, the President and this administration, if we are a democracy, they have an obligation to listen to the people in this country," says advisory member Stacy Bannerman of Military Families Speak Out.

The bus tour continues across the northern U-S, and ends on September 21st in Washington, D.C.
