A number of groups want to bill Wal-Mart nearly $5 million dollars for the amount of state and federal dollars they say is spent on Wal-Mart employees who use Badgercare. Badgercare is the state's health care system for low income families.

A recent report showed more than a thousand Wal-Mart employees use Badgercare either because they can't get insurance through their employer or they can't afford it.

Other big corporations had hundreds of employees on the list and activists say they'll be targeting them too. Darcy Haber from Wisconsin Citizen Action says, "we will be targeting McDonald's and Walgreen, any big, profitable corporation that can afford to be offering health insurance for their employees should be doing the responsible thing and offering that health insurance coverage, because if not, they are part of the health insurance crisis we are facing now."

Wal Mart had corporate profits of more than $10 billion last year. Some democratic lawmakers say if the company won't voluntarily pay up they'll propose legislation to force them to pay.
