A Madison man is in police custody following the discovery of a dead body on the city's Northeast side.

55-year-old Walter Fudge is charged with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of 27-year-old Tina Campbell.
The two reportedly had a domestic relationship.

Around eight o'clock Saturday night, officers were called to investigate a "suspicious death" at the Camelot Towers Apartments on Fordem Avenue.

Preliminary autopsy shows Campbell died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Fudge reportedly surrendered to police around 2:30 Sunday morning, following a search of the area.
